DJ takes requests. ECUADOR EARTHQUAKE RELIEF. On April 16, an earthquake of 7.8 magnitude struck the coast of Ecuador. Over 700 people have died and thousands have been injured. The major cities hit by the earthquake were in Manta and Portoviejo.  Below is an image of the rubble left behind in Pedernales, Manabi, Ecuador.                         The Latino Graduate Student Coalition (LGSC) and Cornell Latin America Student Society (CLASS) are hosting an information table with cash and in-kind donation sources for relief efforts. Supply donations sought include tents, sleeping bags, batteries and flash lights. These items will be given to the Ecuadorian Consulate in New York City. 25% of cash door proceeds will be divided among the Ecuadorian Red Cross and international and national non-governmental organizations. Additional cash donations are welcome at the information table.  PIZZA provided while supplies last!

Parking can be found after 5pm at the front entrance to the Barn on East Avenue, via the back entrance off of Garden Avenue, or in other nearby lots or on-street along Garden Avenue or Tower Road. Many parking permit rules are suspended, and parking free, after 5pm. Please observe parking signs.
